The Flow of the Day plays an important part in the success of students in the Kindergarten Program. In this episode I talk about what the flow of the day is, how to create one, and how it benefits the Tiny Humans in your class.

Here are some questions that I have found helpful to think about when creating your Flow of the Day:
- How can we reduce the number of transitions in the day?
- What can we do to enable children to revisit, over time, inquiries or projects in which they are deeply engaged, in order to extend the learning?
- How can we make the best use of two educators to maximize the time allowed in our schedule for children to be engaged in learning?
- What opportunities does a child have, in the course of the day, to retire to a space for quiet and rest? Does the flow of our day allow for children to rest when they feel tired?
- What challenges that have an impact on the flow of the day could we discuss with the principal?
- How long are the arrival and departure windows?
