They always say boys need their dads in their lives to teach them how to be men. I agree. But I also feel that girls need their fathers just as much as boys. We need our dads to show us how males should treat females in a positive light. To show us an example as to how our fathers treat our mothers. How a young man should treat a young woman. How to learn, know, and understand the signs of a man who does not have good intentions when courting us. How to protect ourselves in self defense when someone is trying to harm us. Take us out exploring and fishing just as you would your sons. There's nothing wrong with us learning those things to help prepare us for the world as well.
