Hey! This is The Radio Intern I’m your host, Lera, a Broadcast Journalist that has gone through the ranks of the radio industry, starting out as an intern, evolving and changing roles on the way up. The Radio Intern is a weekly podcast that talks about things to expect while interning at a radio station and tips on how to navigate and glide across various hurdles, and oh yeah, you would learn those skills you would need if you want to work at a radio station. Many graduates who desire a career in radio always find it difficult to get into the media space. The Radio Intern was created to address this. To spice it up, info regarding radio stations across the globe would be dropped here, not forgetting a rundown of local and national news headlines. So, subscribe to my podcast and let’s get going!
