The Qur’an – Reading and Exposition – Al Sujud 1 – Surah 53

The Qur’an: Reading and Exposition.

According to the analysis of THE QUR’AN: A COMPLETE REVELATION by Sam Gerrans the last 64 surahs of the Qur’an form a block known internally as al sujud (translated as the Submission). Al sujud is a night vigil to which unbelievers, non-believers and believers of other things are invited. Here a single segment of those portions into which the Qur’an breaks surahs 50 – 114 is read and men are allowed to make their determinations.
