Bio: Paul Atkin is a founder, entrepreneur, and musicologist. In April 2015, he launched his most ambitious project yet: the reconstruction in Venice, Italy, of the world’s first public opera house, the Teatro San Cassiano of 1637. Eight years later, the impossible dream has become a reality. A site has been found and the technical process of its acquisition is in full swing. Having secured the site, Paul is now looking to secure the remaining funding to restore the Historically-Informed Baroque Opera to Venice.
