This episode is a deep dive into how healing spaces can quickly turn into dogmatic and fantastical snares. We discuss certain toxicities that tend to arise in some healing communities and, of course, we are particularly referencing the localized community in which we participate. It is unfortunate that, oftentimes, the deeper you get within a "community," the more dysfunctional it becomes. We hope that this episode can start the conversation on how to honor community agreements, what healthy community looks like, identifying what it doesn't look like, and maintaining the self while participating within a community.
