With Memorial Day upon us, we turn the only way appropriate for a Hoosier storyteller- toward the Indy 500 & memories therein. 
The discoveries of an 11year old as he takes in his first Greatest Spectacle in Racing, albeit as a lowly seller of newspapers in the infield before and during the race, are simple. 
But the sights and sounds of the event come alive in the telling.
