The Return of the Best Star Trek Podcast
I couldn’t believe my own eyes when I saw a new episode pop up on my podcast feed. Post Atomic Horror mix of both hilarious ribbing through the ages of Star Trek that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still delivers genuine insight into the episodes and their topics. I don’t think I could have made it through the end of Voyager and Enterprise without their bits and commentary to add to the experience. I am so excited to hear their thoughts on the rest of Picard and Discovery plus any of the newer shows on the way. Give this one a listen if you who want to revisit series old or explore the latest offerings with a quality format and great chemistry and flow from the hosts. Post Atomic Horror is a funny and worthwile companion through the ages of Trek.

Best Star Trek Podcast
Al & Matt offer the perfect balance of insight and humor in this podcast, and it's the best Star Trek podcast I've managed to find. I just finished a DS9 rewatch, and listening to the episodes in between helped me gain a better appreciation of the series as the whole. They often catch tiny character insights or moments that I often miss on first viewing. Their humor, although crass, is very enjoyable and complements their analysis rather than overpowering it. I especially enjoy Matt's Rom impression, bruther. Love you guys!

I Love this show!
I really liked Aalgar’s Transformers and GIJoe reviews. I reallly like this Star Trek Podcast and you can listen to them in whatever order and it’s not time sensitive. I really like Aalgar’s insight.

Funny and insightful companion to Star Trek
I’ve always loved watching Star Trek, but pairing it with these guys’ commentary brings more depth, and of course good jokes. They perfectly balance respect and awe for Trek with sharp critique when it goes wrong. I don’t always agree, but I always love hearing their side. Podcast has great structure and flow, fantastic banter, and a fun cast of guests.

Best Trek Podcast out there!
I have long been searching for a good Trek podcast. There are so many out there but they each have their flaws - either their production value isn’t up to snuff, or the hosts are boring, or they take too superficial a look at Trek. Not here. Aal and Matt clearly love Trek. Each episode is well produced, good sound, and the hosts have great chemistry. They dive deeply into each episode examining plot, characters and themes. They’re funny and sweet and it’s one of the few podcasts you can always just pop on and rely on to be consistently excellent.

Listen up through Enterprise, but then stop
I quite enjoyed the show through the DS9/Voyager days, when I first started to listen, but the tone as they've gotten to Enterprise has made it unbearable. I get not liking the show, I don't like it either, but the amount of whining and complaining makes it painful to listen to. Worse, they formed the opinion early, and start drawing jokes and conclusions around things that don't happen in the show, or that they weren't watching, etc. Hopefully it gets better once they're on Discovery, but you're better off waiting for it.

"Serious about Trek, but not too serious."
That is the tagline of the show, and it is very accurate. While Aal and Matt obviously know what they're talking about, and have a clear love for the material, they never get overly reverent or forget that they are a comedy show. Their humor and analysis is spot on, and they keep delivering a good show, whether they're doing the best of DS9 or the worst of Voyager.

Got me watching Star Trek
I grew up never having watched any of the Star Trek shows. I just never thought it would be something I was interested in. Then these guys came up with a podcast where they’d watch all the episodes and tell you why things are great and why episodes were just god awful, we’re all looking at you Plato’s Stepchildren. Matt and AAl sparked my interest in the series and have held my metaphorical hand all the way through to their current episodes of Deep Space Nine. It’s so nice being able to listen to people share similar thoughts to mine on these episodes. Sure we don’t always see eye to eye, but shut up, it’s the internet. GIVE THEM A LISTEN!

Oh, the Horror
If there's one Star Trek-based podcast run by my friends on which I occasionally make guest appearances that I can recommend, this would be it. On a less sycophantic note, I find this podcast's balance quite entertaining — enthusiasm for the genre and gentle ribbing of the show's weak points without descending into joyless arguing and nitpicking over minutiae. It's obvious the guys love Star Trek, and their sense of humor is infectious. I even listen when I'm not on the show!

From the same geniuses who brought you the Sarcastic Voyage: Their ongoing mission; to seek out new jokes and hot-60s-looking-chicks. To create new memes and make obscure references. Fans of all series: This podcast is boldly going to amuse and delight you!

I'm never not shilling this podcast
It's true! This plus the parent podcast, The Sarcastic Voyage, are some of the best out there. I look foward to this show each and every week, all four that it has been out so far, and eagerly try to take part in my own way by watching the episodes I think they will cover. Keep up the amazing work guys and hears to hoping that you keep enjoying making this show as much as we enjoy listening to it till 2017 when you've covered tham all. Oh and you're still saying it wrong.

Jumped the Andorian shark
This show is not nearly as good as it used to be. They need to talk about Captain Pike more and forget about this Kirk kid.

You mean it isn't ok to smack Yeoman Rand on the butt?
My nostalgia for Star Trek: The original series is greater than my general enjoyment of rewatching it these days. I have watched most of the episodes at least once in my life, so these recaps with humor and insight are perfect. AAl and Matt have a great established chemistry. Their sense of humor and eye for detail are well suited for this sort of show, and their love for the franchise is also well established and obvious. They don't pander to it at all though, and point out when things don't work, and laugh when things are laughable.

Best combination of review and comedy for a great sci-fi series.
What can one say about such an endeavor? What started as an off-shoot from Sarcastic Voyage podcast, aalgar and matt are at it once again, this time just talking about a great science fiction series, Star-Trek. If you enjoyed the witty (and sometimes un-witty) antics from the Sarcastic Voyage but really wanted the two to just talk about Star-Trek then this is the podcast for you. If not, you need to seek therapy.
