This week on The Popcast, Tim Andrews talks with Kevin Spencer, lead singer and guitarist for Electric Avenue, about the Atlanta-based band's love of '80s music and their biggest hometown show yet: The '80s Symphonic Experience with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra at Atlanta Symphony Hall on Saturday, August 15. Kevin talks about taking the music of the '80s beyond the traditional tribute-show format and what happens when Electric Avenue's meticulous recreations of classic New Wave and pop songs meet the power of a full orchestra.
