He got his pilot&apos;s license as a young man and continues to fly regularly.  His working career took him from a paperboy, to a dishwasher on an Amtrak train, and eventually to the CEO position with Alaska Airlines. We covered a range of topics including  lesson learned during tragedy, leadership and decision making, and the challenges of leading a company through a merger.
