The Peter Boyles Show -Aug 22, 2026 - Hr. 2: Peter Boyles examines the growing appeal of Democratic Socialism, particularly among younger Americans facing soaring costs and an economy where traditional milestones like homeownership and the value of a college degree can feel increasingly out of reach. Peter and callers debate capitalism versus socialism and whether Democratic Socialists could make significant gains in November.

The conversation then turns to Colorado GOP gubernatorial nominee Victor Marx and reports that he claims to have battled reptilian demons, sparking a broader debate over the direction of the Colorado Republican Party, the influence of evangelical politics, and whether the GOP is hurting its own chances at the ballot box.

The hour also features the strange story of the so-called “Castle Rock bag lady,” with Lee, a man who says he has actually seen her, joining Peter in the studio to discuss the mystery.
