In this podcast, we speak with Taro Kanazawa about PestWorld 2023 in Hawaii, the largest and most innovative pest control conference in the world with over 3000 participants. Taro is the CEO of Hysia, an international company providing comprehensive hygiene management solutions in Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Australia. He wore several hats at PestWorld, as a speaker, delegate and as President of The Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers Associations (known as FAOPMA).

In our very first episode, which comes not too long after International Women’s Day, we explore the role of women in the pest management industry. Our first guest is Jo-Lynn Teh, an entomologist who makes things happen. She is a legend in the industry, not just in Singapore, but internationally. Jo-Lynn is Director of Strategy and Business Development at Dynamic Sanito Inc (Japan), and she is a Associate Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic (Singapore). As though she isn’t doing enough professionally, Jo-Lynn is also an athlete who competes and wins, biathlons, swimming and cross-fit.
