Our guest today is Jack Cole. You may have not heard of him but trust me, you’ve seen his work. Jack is best known for the Six Million Dollar Man title sequence that opens the show. He has also designed sequences for great shows like the Rockford Files, Ellery Queen, Ironside, Bionic Woman and a host of others.Whats unique about his work is how he told the story of the show through his design of these title sequences. It was 1974 when he created the Six Million Dollar Man sequence.Lets put that into perspective for some of you youngsters - Steve Jobs was 19 and Apple wasnt even a thought until 1976, so personal computers didn’t exist.That didn’t stop Jacks creative juices to craft sequences that were rich in story and imagery. Six Million dollar man had several layers throughout the entire 2 minute sequence.So get ready design geeks, this ones gonna be special!
