NYU student Anna de la Rosa talks about performing ballet from a young age, how she grew as a dancer, why the art form means so much to her, and what led her to now pursue writing and media in college. She explains the reason she decided not to join a professional company after being offered, and why it was important for her to explore what she wanted to do in high school and college. We talk about the pressures of deciding what you want to pursue as well as the certain limitations of being able to do just that, specifically in regard to the accessibility of dance and other forms.Also, everyone but Guru on this episode is from California.
