21 Years later, I’m ready to talk about the messed up reality of My Dad’s Workplace Injury in 2000. 1300+ lbs fell and crushed his neck- a pain unimaginable. 
Revived twice.
Medically pronounced a quadriplegic 
2 Major surgeries 
Titanium Plate holding his neck together
Chronic Pain 
They Paid him $50 Every Two Weeks for  4 1/2 YEARS. (ya, you read that right)

i’m Calling for awareness and truthfully a big part of me yearns for correction for my dads case & for so many others. 

every year on April 28th on #DayofMourning we take a moment to remember those who have died, were injured or suffered illness because of work. LET’S REALLY TALK ABOUT IT 🗣
