Gene and Randall present investigative researcher Samuel J. Maranto, who will cover a number of the high-caliber UFO cases he has investigated, along with his incredible personal sightings that include both strange objects and apparitions. He is best known for his work on the Tinley Park Mass Sightings during the "year of the weird," 2004, and the Chicago O’Hare Gate C17 incident of 2006. October 4, 2020 — Bill Kousoulas
Gene and Randall present paranormal researcher Bill Kousoulas. In 2003, he was introduced to "The Mothman Prophecies" movie, and it truly changed his life. Since then, he has read nearly all of John Keel’s research, as well as the works of similar authors including Gray Barker, Andrew Colvin, and Brent Raynes, and he will discuss Mothman, the MIB and other strange phenomena that has impacted Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Since 2016, Bill and his wife Jaci have visited that city regularly. He is completing his PhD in psychology, with a focus on post-traumatic growth. Bill and Jaci are also in the preliminary stages of a phenomenological study that will examine the correlations between paranormal experiences and post-traumatic growth.

Gene and Randall welcome UFO researcher Richard Hoffman for a return visit. As of this interview, Rich has been following the topic for well over 50 decades. He is a member of NARCAP, the Planetary Society, and works among a group of academics and scientists with the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU). In his working life, he is an Enterprise Architect working at Redstone Arsenal and the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. One of Rich’s projects is the investigation of mysterious balls of lights that appear in Alabama. In this interview, we talk to Rich about this light phenomenon, its history, and Rich’s ongoing investigation into UFOs. He also talks about the Pentagon's UFO task force, and what the government might know about the phenomenon.

Cayce is referred to as "the sleeping prophet, the father of holistic medicine, and the most documented psychic of the 20th century." Sidney's books include "Edgar Cayce: An American Prophet." He is the only author to receive unrestricted access to the Edgar Cayce archives in Virginia Beach, and he and his wife Nancy have authored some 30 articles on "the Miracle Man of Virginia Beach" and have been editors of Venture Inward, the official magazine of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment. Fortean researcher/writer/podcaster Micah Hanks returns to The Paracast to bring us up to date on his work. He covers the legends of the MIB, the work of author John Keel, space exploration and, among other things, current reports about the UAP (UFO) task force formed by the Pentagon. Micah is a longtime advocate for scientific research into UFOs. As a frequent commentator and writer on this subject, he maintains an interest in the history, and possible scientific explanations for aspects of the phenomenon. Along with his science advocacy relating to this topic, Micah’s interests also include areas of consciousness research, biological and zoological mysteries, and other unusual phenomena in nature. A “hopeful skeptic,” he advocates a critically-minded approach to the study of these subjects.
