It's our fleshly nature that wants to be in charge, but we learn in from Jesus that we are not the Vinedresser. God is the Vinedresser. John recorded the words of Jesus who taught us that we are the branches, and our job is to abide in the Vine, Jesus. God is the One who tends the Vineyard.
