To decipher the Rite of Annihilation, Robert Kerr enlists the help of Santiago "Chano" Taboada, his former graduate assistant ... and former lover. Chano is able to crack the code, but as the two men reconnect intimately and work their way through the dangerous ritual, dark forces pull at their minds and souls.
