In this second and final part about the brilliant book" Leadership : Lessons from the Presidents for Turbulent Times" by Doris Kearns Goodwin, we will talk about the lessons in leadership from the lives of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson.
This is one of the well researched , scholarly books that I read this year and strongly recommend it to anybody interested in Politics and Power.
These leaders withstood unimaginable , unbearable physiological and psychological pain. Through grit and will power, they overcame these obstacles to etch their position in the history of USA.
About the author: Doris Kearns Goodwin is a Pulitzer award winning author of best sellers like Team of Rivals: The political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, No Ordinary time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II , The Bully Pulpit and Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream.
