Even before the COVID-19 pandemic our region was leading the country in the life sciences and biotech arena. Since the pandemic, however, with companies like Adaptive Phage Therapeutics and Novavax leading the way with industry support from groups like MD Tech Council the DMV is poised to lead the country in these areas.
