In Exodus, the fifth commandment tells us to "Honor thy father and thy Mother." If you were raised #christian then you were taught this as God's word. But what if you're also part of the disporportionately high group of Christians that grew up in an abusive home? Should you 'honor' abusive caregivers or defy God's commandment?
