It is important because it is needed in order to overcome many obstacles that your child will face in life. It is the job of the parent to help their children build self-confidence. The importance of building childhood confidence (Part 2)

I am a single mom with a Ph.D in Sociology and Anthropology. I work a lot of jobs to make ends meet; like all parents, we give up everything we could have so that our children could have more opportunities in life. At the same time I am raising my 6-year old son alone since 2018 when he was about to turn 3. So I will usually talk about random things like single parenting, support from siblings, grandparents and other extended family members to build confidence in children. Most of the time just ranting about my day or sharing some methods to improve the upbringing of children in this 21st century. I try incorporating Stoicism as my way of life.
