The episode coming this week, will be different for several reasons. This was the first one I ever recorded (like the pilot), and for that I needed someone willing to repeat it (if it required changes). So this is about the one person who pushed me to become a mentor, a great friend and outstanding finance guy. He loves to learn and to teach, and in case you wondered, we didn’t repeat it although something did change, He was promoted to Finance Director. Stay tuned for Willebaldo (Willy) Carmona, on our latest episode, talking about discovering and sticking to your mentor, shifting your life and professional priorities and finding joy in every step of it, coming out on Thursday night!

For our latest episode, I am sharing a very fun talk with one of my first bosses who actually was my boss for the longest and helped me boost my carreer in lots of ways - For our latest episode, I am sharing a very fun talk with one of my first bosses who actually was my boss for the longest and helped me boost my carreer in lots of ways - Dany Aliaga: “The one who showed to make the most out of every chance I get to learn.” I started working on Dany’s team at P&G México in 2005. At the time I could barely understand how big and meaningful the words “reorganization” really were, and yet, with Dany, I was part of my first big reorganization project – Finance for P&G Mexico. From basic tips as communication and trusting in me to manage pieces of the real complex project we had running with McKinsey, to organizing funny awards and events where He never underestimated the power of laughing together, Dany was a warm, fun and professionally experienced boss who helped me shape my own career in lots of ways – He can probably be named responsible for fueling my curiosity so so much. We bumped into each other briefly in Panama as well, and he never stopped being a guiding hand, even as He left P&G. After a successful and humbling career change where he put his own advice to the test and reinvented himself, He now leads Bacardi Mexico as its GM… and still answers my texts and checks in for coffee. Listen to this episode where you can learn at the power of being authentic and curiosity and how far you may go with it. Enjoy!!! (and know, yes… if I know it, I will sing happy birthday to you too!)
