This week, the latest LIB alum to join the LovePod Squad is season 2's Nick Thompson. Nick made for a controversial figure post-show. The notoriously messy season ended with Nick married to fellow cast member Danielle Ruhl, and were still together a year later during the Love is Blind After the Altar reunion. But that's not the legacy Nick is leaving more than 3 years after his time on the Netflix reality show.
Life has changed for Nick quite a bit since Love is Blind season 2. His openness about his experience on the show and its impact on his mental health led him to co-found UCAN with fellow Love is Blind cast member Jeremy Hartwell and clinical psychologist Dr. Isabelle Morley. Alongside Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel, the organization is working for change on unscripted network television shows.
Nick's podcast, Eyes Wide Open, also digs deep into stigmatized social issues, with a special focus on mental health with guests including fellow Love is Blind cast mates, psychology experts and even well known comedians getting candid about their lives.
