Where it is common for human beings to eat the flesh of other animals, there still exists a rare community - the aghoris - who follow a bizarre practice of consuming flesh of human corpses, especially those cremated according to Hindu funeral rites. These devout followers of Lord Shiva are convinced that the only road to the divine self is a complete renunciation of all normal human desires.
