Ali Farahnakian, veteran comedian and caretaker of The Peoples Improv Theater (The Pit) sits down with me to discuss how rejection can often times be blessings in disguise. Ali was a writer on SNL and when he was let go after a short run due to budget cuts, he used that as a springboard to bigger things.
Rejection can either be crippling or fuel for great things. Ali says it’s one thing to overcome fears, but it’s even better to ‘follow’ the fear, advice he got from Del Close.
