On today's episode of the Lax Lounge, it's another solo pod with just Fridge and Nick checking in to talk about their eventful Thanksgiving breaks! We cover everything from the festivities and preparation leading up to the big dinner and our polar opposite experiences on Turkey Day. From there we break down the remaining days away from school which includes deck hockey, fishing, and somebodies first experience on a hunt. We end with a draft of the best christmas gifts we've ever received to kick off the holiday season with a bang! Make sure to check out our website at https://www.laxloungeinc.com/ and thank you to our sponsor Edvative Learning (https://www.edvative.com/)

It’s a solo pod so we begin by giving each other our own fast 5 questions, we discuss everything from what we would bring on a deserted island, Fridge’s NFC North tier list, the best teachers we’ve ever had, our favorite holiday movies and debate if die hard is a Christmas movie, and real tree vs fake tree
We get into a recap of last week beginning with Fridge’s drive up to Hoboken on Tuesday seeing the Statue of Liberty for the first time, our pool workout with Dustin on Monday, prepping for Thanksgiving and hanging out with friends on Wednesday, Nick’s nightmare Thanksgiving dinner at a buffet, Fridge’s adventure at the kid’s table with Nate’s family
Fridge gets a Cabrini shoutout at QuickCheck, his early morning fishing trip on Friday and Nate hooking onto a river monster, Nick’s deck hockey games with his brothers friends, another early morning for Fridge going hunting for the first time in the woods
We go over our moments of the week where Nick reminisces on the most disturbing piece of pumpkin pie he’s ever seen and Fridge recaps his experience watching the biggest play of the Apple Cup
Draft of the best Christmas gifts that we have ever gotten
