This week we watched the vivacious and vibrant Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon absolutely take back their power in 1991’s Thelma and Louise. Wrong time, wrong place and wrong men back these women into a corner they hold hands and drive out of in this powerful empowerment film that is much more fun than the cultural narrative around it would have you believe. It’s a blast!
