Chicago native, April D. Preyar, is a skilled criminal defense attorney. Preyar received her undergraduate degree in both English and Spanish from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She earned her law degree from George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where she interned with the D.C. Public Defender’s Office.
Ms. Preyar talks with The LATE Shift host Inez Kelley about long standing injustices with in criminal justice system and institutions designed to create a trail from public school to prison for some of our most vulnerable.
