Doctor Sleep follows a grown up Danny Torrance who struggles with the same addiction and trauma issues his dad had all the while a roaming caravan of nomadic psychic vampires roam the country seeks out children with The Shine to do not so nice things to them in order to prolong their quasi-immortality.
