This episode is very personal for me, it is a situation I have found myself in many times in my life but just learned how to fully process. The past 5 years have been very consequential to me for so many reasons. One huge lesson came when I lost some very dear and close relationships. There were no conflicts, arguments or disagreements, just a slow withdrawal that ended abruptly. Now, we all know that relationships have their seasons and each one isn’t meant to go on forever. What I was not prepared for was what I now know was grief that set in. It caused me to question myself, my actions and my decisions about who I let in my life. I felt like a bad judge of character and worse a bad person. All of this affected every area of my life because it exploited the lack of trust I already had in myself to make sound decisions.
