I share my experience growing up Black in America and how unaware I was of the dislike of my community due to our skin tone and behaviors that was a reaction to a system to keep us at the bottom of the barrel while daily stripping our culture and human effect. Now, I am fully aware and beginning the dialogue of how I can do better for myself and my community.
