Poet, writer, advocate, and speaker for Cysters, Nikita Chadha (she/her) joined Evelyn (she/her) to share her personal experiences of mental health and endometriosis as a British Indian woman. In the episode, Nikita unpacks how whiteness and femininity still dominate current representations of endometriosis and how she is challenging this with Cysters. Nikita also talked about managing, navigating and receiving treatment for mental health and chronic illness within the NHS and how this has informed both her Cysters advocacy work and her poetry.
