@BeforeYouShoot is a movement to humanize the lives of Black men in America in this era of shooting unarmed men of color. We have all been socialized to view a man of color as a threat through repeated messages and images in the media. This film paints a fuller, more accurate picture of Black men as humans with lives and families, fears and hopes.
