Nine-year-old Nathan Hepburn has a rare and dangerous brain condition that doctors say could eventually cause a catastrophic brain bleed. After treatments in Canada failed, his family turned to a specialist in Germany whose procedure has shown promising results. But despite support from Nathan's medical team, the province has refused to cover the cost, arguing the treatment is experimental and that options exist in Canada.
