Welcome, Dr. Kayla C. Thomas to the I.T. Factor Podcast!

At the time of the shoot, Dr. Thomas was attending medical school at The Howard University. She was selected into the NFL Diversity in Sports Medicine pipeline initiative. This is Where she got a chance to work with the New York Giants!🏈🔴🔵

We spoke on how she enjoyed working for the Giants and loves to work with athletes stemming from her athletic background in undergrad! Her abilities to relate with athletes as a former track athlete were present because of her past injuries. First hand, she knows what recovery looks like.

I am proud to see that she has matched with the University of Virginia to finish out her residency. She plans to pursue a Sports Medicine Fellowship that will help propel her to becoming a Primary Care Sports Medicine Team Physician.

I know that the future is so bright for Dr. Kayla C. Thomas and I look forward to continue documenting all of her great accomplishments.
