Medical science has proven multiple times since the 1950s that calorie counting doesn't work and never has!
We cannot measure the calories that come in, in the same way as calories going out.
It's not as simple as that.
Calorie (Kcal) is a simple measurement of energy.
It is a calculation of how much heat energy a piece of food contains.
It does not provide any information regarding its effects on metabolism, hormones, nutritional absorption, or how a calorie is likely to affect overall health.
In other words, not all calories are equal.
