Most of us arrive at our decisions in the wrong manner.  We test the boundaries in all the wrong ways and evaluate our choices through what is the most comfortable or fun for us.

We spend the max amount we can afford and then some.  We skirt as close to the line as we can without major negative consequences.  We delay until the last minute.  

Instead of thinking through what feels good or right, or what appears to be comfortable or fun, we should make our decisions based on what is wise based for our situation.
