We were driving away from a scenic hike in the blue mountains. In the car was my mum, my aunt (Aunty Cath), my brother (Jay) and I. I went to look out the window when my eye caught something on my long shirt sleeve. I went to flick it off not realising that this ‘thing’ on my arm was going to change my life.
