Opening Los Angeles Ale Works in 2017, founder Kristofor “Kip” Barnes set out to create a neighborhood brewery offering diverse, well-balanced beers to please any palate. As the first brewery in Hawthorne, CA, the operation quickly gained popularity and became a favorite watering hole for SpaceX employees working around the corner. Today, they offer everything from traditional German, English and Belgian styles to modern American IPAs -- (all with a little California flare!)
Featured beers: “Into the Unknown” Space XPA, Zebra Stripe Milkshake IPA and Jazz Forever Bourbon Barrel Blend. Plus: Stephen has a new t-shirt idea for residents of Portland, OR!
