Halloween comes but once a year, and there’s no better way to kick off the weekend than to drink and be scary with a very special, spooky episode of The HOP! Every Halloween enthusiast has finished carving a jack-o-lantern and found themselves asking the question, “What do I do with all this leftover pumpkin meat?” We say make beer out of it! True to tradition, Stephen & Gabe celebrate All Hallow’s Eve by featuring one of the most divisive, oft-loved, oft-hated beer styles available: The pumpkin ale! The festivities kick off in Massachusetts as Stephen visits the Trappist monks of Spencer Brewing. It’s all treat and no trick for Gabe back at CT’s Two Roads Brewing where he finally gets to break down one of his very favorite beers. Finally, the boys come together for a trip down to Milton, DE where Dogfish Head continues to brew one of the most popular pumpkin ales of all time.
