Apparently it is now canon that the resurrected Palpatine in Episode IX is a clone. Well, you can imagine our disappointment after our Expanded Universes episode. We discuss why we feel this isn’t something the viewer needs to know, and our repeated annoyance that now seems to be the era of explaining EVERYTHING. Spoilers for Rise of Skywalker.
