Dr Silverman's extensive career spans over 20 years and across thousands of patients. In an innovative shift towards the way patients and professionals approach weight loss surgery, Dr Silverman developed a multidisciplinary treatment model – The Peak Program -  that considers every area of a patient's health and wellbeing.

Dr Silverman is also the first female surgeon to carry out robotic surgery in Queensland, Australia.
