A 20 minute guided meditation using the sounds around us an anchor to the present moment. The ideas and general outline are taken from A Clinician's Guide to Mindfulness by Christiane Wolf & J. Greg Serpa.
Suggestions before beginning:
1. Find a comfortable place to sit - chair, cushion, or mat..
2. Make sure you will undisturbed for 20 minutes- turn phone & other devices off.
3. Be prepared for long pauses as this is time to practice the instructions given
4. A gentle reminder that everything that comes up is perfectly normal
5. You will know the session has ended when you hear the sound of 3 bells.
