Welcome to day 5 of the 12 days of Christmas. Today we’re talking about getting inspired. Inspiration is all around us, and it’s important to find what works for you and helps you create your own style.
One way to do this is by looking to celebrities for inspiration. Take the time to really analyze their style, the colors they prefer, their silhouettes and shapes, and how they accessorize. Creating a mood board with these looks can help you cultivate a style that will suit you best.
Style blogs and websites can also be great sources of inspiration. Read through the posts and find looks you connect with and create your own interpretation of them.
Instagram is also a great way to find daily style inspiration. Look for fashionistas who’s styles matches yours, or who have looks that you’d like to try.
Creating a mood board is also a great way to keep track of what inspires you. Collect images you love and images of pieces you’d like to incorporate into your own wardrobe. Pinterest is a great platform to do this, so have fun creating your own boards and pinning whatever inspires you.
Inspiration can also be found in art, travel, film and magazines, so never limit yourself when it comes to finding new ways to get inspired. Keep an open mind and use all tools available to find what motivates you.
At the end of the day, finding inspiration is all about staying true to yourself and your own style. Choose pieces and create looks that make you feel confident and that you love wearing. Don’t be afraid to take risks, try something new, or even just go with your gut feeling when shopping. Getting inspired doesn’t necessarily have to lead to significant changes in your wardrobe, but small steps can have a big impact in the long run.
Now that we’ve gone over some different ways to get inspired, it’s time to go shopping and create your own unique look! Thanks for tuning into day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas.
