Hart To Hart Podcast
This is coming from a former student. It’s a fantastic podcast that doesn’t only connect with the school , but with the community. The podcast helps me keep up with what’s going on at my former high school. Keep up the good work 👍🏼.

Amazing
I wake up everyday and I look forward to listening to this podcast. I am the #1 fan and I’d love to hear more from students and Zach. Can’t wait for the next episode.

A few requests:
Podcast is fine. I am a student at Hart High School. A couple of notes though
-The show comes off as being a lot of talking about how great Hart is. We all know just how good Hart is. Talk more about ways the school could improve. Speak with students and teachers about the good and the bad
-Talk with club leaders about clubs
-I would like an episode devoted to the history of Hart High a subject that I find fascinating.
-I’m sorry, but the music could be better. Your son is 12. He’s not Mozart. Also, can you say nepotism?
-Jason needs to sound more genuinely interested in the subjects he’s talking about. Let the interviewee talk about what they talk about. There are no questions on the show. It’s just “Tell me a little about...”.
-At the end of every interview, ask what they think could be improved about the particular topic being discussed
-Please just invite more students on the show. You talk about how the students are equal so let them speak!
-Try to ask more interesting questions
-Get an intro announcer guy to play at the beginning of every podcast. That would be sick. I would be happy to lend my services. My name is Zach Riley and I’m told I have a great voice over type voice
-Get a consistent upload schedule. These sporadic uploads are disconcerting.
-Do a study habits episode
-Episode on alternate schooling stuff like coc. Also episode on theoretical schedules that could allow for just 1or 2 periods senior year.
-Do episodes where you actually debate people on certain subjects. I know dress code is a big issue and last year I was denied a perfectly innocent and fine club (brownie club) while Minecraft club, a game where you brutally murder cows pigs and chickens and can be attacked by monsters. Actually giving teachers and students a forum to have a real intellectual debate is a wonderful ideas. There is a power dynamic that doesn’t allow for ideas to be shared with superiors.
-Just make it more fun!
Thanks. I think I’m the only student in the entire campus that has listened to the podcast and I just needed to let my voice be heard. The podcast is fine, but it’s stale and boring, and all your guests feel like they’re regurgitating prewritten responses or the “correct” response back to you. Again, if Jason or any of his cohorts would like to further discuss these matters with me, I would be happy to help in any way I can, as I think the idea of the podcast has great potential. My name once again is Zachary Aaron Riley, 10th Grade.

Outstanding
Jason’s podcast is an awesome example of how a school leader can reach out to the community using technology and connect personally by voice!
