This week’s message was jam-packed! It is really two messages of our 14 Pages series in one, Romans chapters four and six! To summarize, Pastor Rick talked about four things:
- The importance of studying the Old Testament.
- The importance of knowing what God has promised you, both in Scripture and through the Holy Spirit, and letting those promises shape how you live.
- The importance of understanding that those who follow Christ have been freed from the power of sin and death.
- The importance of being baptized once you become a follower of Christ, and how The Harbor marks that importance with a church-wide celebration (coming up in May!)
This message illuminates what God has done for us and our responsibilities in our relationship with the Almighty. It’s such a powerful message, you might want to listen to it more than once!
