Money plays a huge role in your experience as a young adult and in the transition into adulthood. Money can define your status as an adult; essentially, once you are no longer reliant on your parents to pay for stuff, you might consider yourself an adult- and justifiably so. But beyond this, money plays a huge role in our perception of ourselves as an adult because of all of the emotional and logistical baggage it brings. When you’re navigating adulthood, all sorts of privileges and freedoms you can and can’t enjoy are a direct result of money or are tied to money in some way. The way you’re able to live your life is to a large extent dictated by money. In this episode, Eve, Marco, and I share our own struggles with reckoning with money, feeling behind, identifying what it means to be financially free, and more.
