Ebner's learning the ropes at the National Enquirer and it isn't going well, he just can't find the sweet spot in the Tabloid Universe. He is moved to The Globe  where he finally gets a shot at his Truman Capote moment with a 'Fetus Snatcher' story but even that is cheapened by the tabloid take on the crime. He moves onto a story about the Minutemen that gets him beaten up and in a matter of months, Ebner has 2 strikes against him at A.M.I and is seeing that the tabloid universe is not a place for him.
