In this episode, we have the honor of speaking with Roberta "Randy" Tidmore, a WWII U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a Rosie the Riveter. Randy shares her incredible life story, full of adventure and courage.

Randy talks about her time in the Marines, including her unique job driving a garbage truck. She shares how she overcame the challenges she faced as a woman in the military during WWII and how her time in the service impacted her life and career.

After leaving the military, Randy pursued several careers, including becoming a flight attendant and even a tomato farmer. She discusses her experiences in each of these professions and shares how she approached each new challenge with determination and a willingness to learn.

Throughout her life, Randy has also been actively involved in volunteering for several organizations, including the Salvation Army, Women Marines Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Honor Flight San Diego. She shares how giving back to her community has been an important part of her life and how it has helped her to stay connected and engaged.
